The Edit Service Agreement & Terms & Conditions
Your footage
We edit the footage you supply, as it is. We can't be responsible for moments that weren't captured, footage that didn't record properly, or files that are corrupted or missing.
What's included
Your booking covers one wedding film edited from up to 8 hours of supplied footage
Format
We work with horizontal camcorder footage only. Footage must be supplied as digital video files (MP4, MOV, AVI and similar). Footage recorded to tape, disc, or film will need to be converted before it's uploaded.
Uploading
We'll send you a Dropbox folder after your wedding. Your turnaround time starts from the day your footage is fully uploaded.
File storage
Please keep your own copy of everything. Upload a copy of your footage to the Dropbox folder, not your only version, and keep the original files safe on your end.
We'll delete your footage and final film 3 months after delivery. After that we won't hold a copy, so please make sure you've downloaded and backed up your film before then.
Storage and backup of your own files is your responsibility.
Ownership and use
You own your footage and your finished film. By booking, you give us permission to use short excerpts from your film on our website and social media. If you'd rather we didn't, just let us know and we'll keep it private.
You confirm you have the right to supply the footage you upload. If someone else filmed it, please make sure they're happy for us to edit it.
Music
Any music in your film is licensed to us for your edit. That licence doesn't transfer to you, so please don't re-cut or redistribute your film with the music in it.
Payment and refunds
Payment is taken at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than one week before your wedding date will be refunded in full. Within that week your booking is non-refundable, as your edit has been scheduled in.
Check the music clause against your actual Epidemic Sound terms before publishing. I've written what's typical, not what your specific licence says.
